INDIBA Radiofrequency: A New Era in Equine Rehabilitation…

I’m incredibly excited to be adding INDIBA Radiofrequency to my practice, offered to all current and new prospective clients. This investment has been something I’ve been considering for a long time and having seen first-hand the benefits of this revolutionary device, I can’t wait to integrate INDIBA into my treatments.

Throughout my training I have shadowed and worked alongside several physiotherapists, all of which who choose to implement different techniques and modalities into their treatments. Whilst electrotherapies such as LASER and ultrasound absolutely have their place, the results I have seen with INDIBA are second to none. To me, INDIBA firstly stands out due to how versatile the device is. Radiofrequency can be used to treat a vast range of injuries and conditions, from osteoarthritis, to tendon/ligament injuries, head shaking, laminitis, and nearly everything in between. Not only this, but INDIBA can be implemented in pre or post-competition treatments, to improve performance and enhance recovery following competition. Furthermore, research has identified INDIBA to have the deepest penetration depth compared with other electrotherapeutic modalities, due to its closer circuit current. This means we can treat the sacroiliac joint in horses, an area that was previously not possible to treat through any other modality.

I am still very much a believer that manual techniques, massage, stretching and mobilisations, should be the foundation of any physiotherapeutic treatment, so I will be integrating these techniques into my INDIBA treatments when treating a target area. As well as this, I will be continuing to offer full physiotherapy treatments, as well as combined INDIBA & physiotherapy for the ultimate deep treatment.

If you’d like to find out more about INDIBA Radiofrequency or book a treatment from your horse, please do get in touch. I would love to hear from you!
